There is a reason this is the first note and not a press release. We would rather start with a sentence we mean than a sentence that performs.

So: Vyana is a parent company. We build and run software companies for customers whose work does not tolerate the software failing. Four companies today. Others in build.

The rest of this note is the long version of those sentences.

IWhat Vyana is

Vyana is a parent operator. Each product we ship comes from a separate company inside the group – separate team, separate market, separate product roadmap. What is shared is an engineering standard, a brand, and the way we spend capital.

The customers we care about run something demanding on the software we ship. Engineering teams that break in production. Compliance teams that face regulators. Hospital receptionists on a Tuesday morning. Sales teams closing deals. When our software is right, their day is easier. When it isn’t, it fails them in front of their own customer. We think about that a lot.

IIThe name

Vyana is a Sanskrit word. In the yogic tradition it refers to the breath that runs through everything, quietly, between every other thing. We chose it because that is what serious software is – the layer nobody thinks about until the day it matters, and then it is what matters.

We named the group for that.

IIIWhat we build

Four companies today. Each with its own product, market, and team.

Uplint – File infrastructure, as an API. Uploads, storage, delivery, transforms – at scale, without the boilerplate every product team writes twice.

Stratl – AI compliance, without the paperwork. For teams shipping AI in regulated industries – banking, healthcare, insurance. Compliance that runs inside the system, not a binder filed and forgotten.

PrimeStack – An HMS with intelligence built into the workflow. Voice-first charting in Hindi and English, forms that populate as clinicians speak, follow-up tests suggested when a value crosses a threshold and routed through billing for approval. Not a chatbot bolted on the side; intelligence where the work actually happens.

Rell – Design your own CRM, no code. Objects, fields, views, pipelines, and automations you compose into the exact system your team runs on – for sales, ops, service, clinics, or whatever the team actually tracks.

Others in build. We add a company only when the case for it is plainly clear.

IVWhat we won’t do

We are not a systems integrator. We are not a services firm. We do not white-label. We are not looking to bolt a chat window onto something that already worked.

If a portfolio company needs something already built well by someone else, we use it. If it is not, we build it. If the problem sits below the software, we go there.

VHow we work

Vyana is based in New Delhi. We are patient with capital, careful with headcount, and impatient about correctness. Each portfolio company operates independently, with its own product leadership. The group provides shared engineering practice, brand, and capital – and holds the bar.

We will publish notes here – short, dated, numbered. Some are technical. Some are about how we work. All are honest about status: Resolved means resolved; Open means open.

VIThe mark

Two strokes converging on a single point. The gap between them is deliberate. It stays in the mark, and it stays in the work.
